Ad un grezzo rock’n’roll americano con “venature oscure” si rifanno i JUPITER CRASH con il loro debutto sulla lunga distanza “The skin before the art”(SINister Records). Il combo di Seattle, in cui suona anche il chitarrista dei The Sins Lee Tillman, è presentato dai media come una band di eighties post-punk-rock sulla scia dei The Cult, ma, se non vi è nulla da obiettare sul gruppo di rimando, occorre aggiustare il periodo riferimento ricollegabile ai Cult “rockettari”di “Sonic temple”. In altre parole di post-punk dei Jupiter Crash c’è molto, ma molto poco.
