Physical Gothic: BYRONIC SEX & EXILE “Everything But The Ghoul”(Goth City Rec.)

Torna l’anima più tormentata del panorama gotico Anglosassone, all’anagrafe Joel Heyes, che al pari un novello Francis Lathom pubblica come BYRONIC SEX & EXILE il suo quarto romanzo nero in musica intitolato “Everything But The Ghoul”(Goth City Rec.). Quattordici capitoli, di cui alcuni già contenuti nell’ep digitale “Lingering Human Emotions”, in cui si dibatte di castelli infestati, cigolii, fantasmi usciti dai dipinti, vendette dall’oltretomba, amori impossibili soffocati nel sangue, vampiri … il tutto musicato nel consueto stile brit-goth chiesastico-cimiteriale. Joey suggerisce “It is an album best appreciated  on a stormy winter

night with a glass of red wine, preferably beside a roaring fire in a deserted Carpathian castle” ma se non siete nei paraggi dei Carpazi, basta inserire il cd nel lettore della macchina e dirigersi in Autunno verso l’Appennino, che è l’ambiente più gotico che abbiamo in Italia, per passare un viaggio da … brividi.
