Sempre belle notizie dalla fredda Svezia dove debuttano con l’album “Die By My Hand”(Svart Records) i DIE OBERHERREN. L’ensemble è un “supergruppo” formato da musicanti vichinghi dalla lunga fedina musicale che hanno come capobanda Joakim Knutsson (Joe And The Boys From Above,…). Il genere trattato si potrebbe riassumere come “western goth’n’ roll” in quanto nello scorrere del disco si

sente l’influenza di certe sonorità glam-punk-wave (Lords Of The New Chuch), dell’horror country (The Coffinshakers), del goth’n’roll (Billy Idol, The Cult) e dell’hard-goth rock (Tenebre). Di sicura presa per chi segue questa rubrica “By the End of the Shore” con fiati e piano da saloon, le corroboranti “The Blood or the Wine”, “Something Wicked” e la sinuosa “Clans of Darkness and Smoke”. Ottimo esordio per i Die Oberherren che consiglio a chi ha apprezzato l’album di debutto dei “cugini” Underground Fire. Out dal 31 Gennaio in cd e vinile nero/arancio.
