“Beauty and brutality”(Necrosymphonic) è la seconda pubblicazione dei THE DEAD POETS dopo il singolo “Forever” uscito nel 2005. Questo Mcd-Ep è un piccolo passo avanti in qualità per il combo Portoghese, con un sound che si fa aggressivo e più marcatamente gothic-rock (“Fallen angel docet”) mentre i vocalizzi del singer Chaves rimangono sempre troppo Ville-Valo dipenti per i miei gusti.
